The Hotel Zenit Borrell****, found in the middle of the Eixample district, is a paradigm and model of the urbanistic expansion of large European cities in the 19th century.
Walking along the honeycomb shaped, intertwined streets, in 15 minutes we come to Paseo de Gracia following calles Mallorca and Aragó (main streets).
 
Going down Gracia and passing by Plaza de Cataluña (the city nucleus) onto the Ramblas, we can enjoy the paths of the incomparable Gaudí, who made Barcelona itself his greatest and best known work of art. A few streets away we can find the majestic Sagrada Familia and a little further on, the surreal Parque Güell where anyone, from the greatest art experts to the smallest child can enjoy the unforgettable stroll among strange and colourful creatures straight out of the mind of this incomparable artist.
 
Leaving behind the Gaudí route and approaching the port, we will pass by the Ramblas where we can find the renowned Boqueria Market. Here, with a little luck we will bump into the Master of Masters of the kitchen, Ferran Adriá, and his team from Bulli in search of the best and most curious ingredients to be taken to his kitchen, nearby, and used to elaborate the creations that have led him to become known as the best chef in the world.
 
At the end of the route we can approach the feet of the well-known statue of Columbus, from where we can appreciate the whole city, stroll on the Barceloneta beach, visit the aquarium or enjoy a bit of shopping in the large Maremagnum shopping centre open every day of the year.
 
Lastly, we can’t forget one of the city’s major attractions, The Camp Nou football stadium, where we can find the FC Barcelona Museum, Catalunya’s most visited museum, which will without doubt, delight lovers of the so-called king of sports.

How to arrive?

GETTING TO THE HOTEL:
From Barcelona, enter the city from the A7. Cross Avenida Diagonal until you come to the Plaza Francesc Macia. Once across the Plaza, enter the Diagonal´s side street and turn into Calle Villarroel (first on the right). Carry on down Calle Villarroel past 7 side streets and turn right into Calle Mallorca. Continue down Calle Mallorca, turn right into the second street and you will have arrived on Calle Comte Borrell. You will see the Zenit Borell Hotel straight away.
