The hotel has two rooms (Orense and Lugo) with capacity for 80 and 40 people, which can be joined together to convert them into a larger area with greater capacity. The following is a suggested itinerary to see the most interesting sites in A Coruña in a couple of days:

Day 1

Wake up early and after a plentiful breakfast enjoy the sight of the markets, such as that of the Plaza de Lugo, where you can find stalls full of exquisite delicacies.

A short stroll will take you to La Marina, where Las Galerias, former fishermen´s houses, reflect the sunlight out to sea every afternoon.
A few short steps away is the Ciudad Vieja (old town).
The plazas and antique shops mix with the Romanesque or Baroque style of the Santiago, and Santa Maria del Campo churches and the Santo Domingo Convent. If you have the chance, go to the Arte Sacro Museum and follow the literary visit around the Emilia Pardo Bazán House Museum.
In the San Carlos Gardens, a fantastic scenic viewpoint you can spot from afar the San Antón castle, currently an archaeological museum.

You can’t leave the city without trying our renowned and varied cuisine. Shellfish, meat and fish, pies, local cheese and wine, exquisite produce for everybody’s budget.
After lunch, savour a delicious coffee in the Plaza de Maria Pita, where you can find the A Coruña Town Hall and the Clock Museum.

On the calle Real you can find all types of souvenirs and fashion shops. Big names like Loewe, RobertoVerino, Kina Fernández and Adolfo Domínguez begin to appear as we approach the calle Juan Flórez.

The Opera Palace, the Coliseum and the Rosalía Theatre with their intensive programme: concerts, theatre, opera, dance…. there’s no time for boredom. And for the most demanding public, the Galicia Symphony Orchestra. Activities that are intensified with Jazz festivals, the Mozart Festival and the Music with Roots Festival.


Day 2

A compulsory visit is to the Hercules Tower, the symbol of A Coruña, a World Heritage Site, the world’s oldest working Roman lighthouse and impressive sculpture park. Just opposite, the Millennium Obelisk displays the most important monuments in the history of A Coruña.
Along the promenade, 30 mins away from the hotel, a tourist tram from the beginning of the century pleasantly surprises you with the best views.

Discover the secrets of the ocean in the Finisterrae Aquarium, explore the depths of the human body in the Domus, and let your imagination fly among stars and constellations at the House of science Planetarium. It’s completely forbidden to “not touch”.

More than two kilometres of beaches located in the heart of the city to practice a great many types of sports all year round such as surfing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, sailing...

At your own pace you will find uncountable modern exhibits and exhibitions, you will see where Pablo Picasso lived and the things that inspired him during his time in A Coruña, and you will examine magnificent works of art by Sorolla, Rubens, Goya and Botero in the Museum of Fine Arts.

The Monte de San Pedro or Bens Park are our best bet for the environment. Relax in front of an amazing sunset.

When night falls, the city vibrates. In the casino the roulette wheel spins. Popular streets to try a tapa and a glass of good wine such as Olmos, Galera, Franja, Estrella, Barrera…are brimming with movement and are a contrast to the modern cafes and pubs on Panaderas y Juan Canalejo.

Once in the city, on Avenida Linares Rivas, turn left into Calle Juana de Vega, towards the Plaza de Pontevedra. There is an underpass on Calle Juana de Vega: drive in the right hand lane and take the exit for the Paseo Marítimo. The Zenit Coruña Hotel is located at the exit to the tunnel on the right hand side.
